For most of us, a toothache means a quick trip to our local dentist for treatment and relief.  For more than 100,000 of the poorest among us in Oregon, it means days of suffering, the risk of life-threatening infections, impaired performance at work or school, and a desperate search for someone / anyone who can help.

Throughout Oregon, in communities like Bend, Pendleton, Coos Bay, Seaside, Salem and Portland, support provided by the Maybelle Clark Macdonald  Fund  helps our volunteer dental professionals bring relief of pain and dental disease to thousands of children and adults whom Jesus called “the least of these” among us.

Not only has support by the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund enabled us to care for many people directly, it has also energized our fundraising efforts in ways that have attracted many new donors, increased giving to our organization, and raised the impact of our fundraising efforts to a much higher level.

To us, the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund is not only a donor, it is a partner, working to provide advice and support to help our programs grow in sustainable, measurable ways.  We’re tremendously grateful for this partnership and the compassion and vision of Mrs. Macdonald and all associated with the Maybelle Clark Macdonald Fund.
